Fay Malloy

A native of New Orleans, Malloy grew up in a family of compulsive storytellers. By day she attended an all-girls Catholic school and by night she frequented the bars of the French Quarter. Fay eventually moved from New Orleans to escape the humidity, but retained her devotion to the perfect cocktail. She has traveled to all fifty states, including a stint in Hawaii as an organic farmer.

After landing in Portland, Fay was employed by the Port of Portland, holding various positions over the years. For reasons that were never completely clear, she became part of an Irish dance troupe and co-founded the Portland Ceili Club. As a card-carrying member of the Portland Audubon Society, and with a Type-A drive to check off every bird on her life-list, Fay is never far from her binoculars, even on those evenings when her house is full of ne'er-do-wells, and she's shaking up batches of her renowned Cosmopolitans
