There is mystery, ceremony and a bit of letting go mixed up in a cocktail. You find yourself wanting a hot drink on a winter night or a cool, tall frosted drink to sip when wearing your straw hat. We've found that cocktails, with their attendant rituals and equipment and glassware, can provide a link to the things that are essential to our lives. This little book is a compilation of some of our favorite cocktails, arranged by season, and named after the person or place we most associate with that drink.
